Title: relay for life

Comments: I would like to thank all who showed up and participated in the relay for life.The weather got ugly for little,but as we know our boys and girls don't give up just because things get a little rough.Cancer is a hard thing to deal with as some of you might know,when it hits your own family you realize just how ugly it is.My mother is a two time survivor,and I would personally like to thank all who were there,representing PMYWC.A big THANK YOU to Janines mom who shows up for Every event,helps all day long and rarely gets a thank you,or says anything bad in any way,just so you know you are appreciated. Again thank you to all Jeff Stoner

Title: Novice Tournament

Comments: To all Novice Wrestlers & Parents, The Novice tournament was a success. All wrestlers showed great ability and used all the moves that they learned this year. I am very proud of you all. Now that the season is closing please remember to practice wrestling at home, attend post season tournaments, get stronger, and stay healthy for next year. I look forward to many more years of coaching such a great bunch of kids. I also would like to thank the parents for your help on Sunday, for getting the kids to practice, and being involved with them in this great sport. The future rewards will be most excellent! Comments: I hope all our team got a good practice in tonight.It was good to see the High School wrestlers come in the room and lead some of the drills.I know almost all of you learned some good moves tonight and we will continue to drill. I would like all the team to show their appreciation to coach Potter for his effort in the room tonight.The Varsity coach of Pocono Mountain taking time out of his busy schedule to coach the youth association shows that all our efforts must be going in the right direction. I would also like to thank Greg Gibson and his brother Quinn for wanting to join in on leading our group of boys to be responsible and respectful athletes as we go from the youth to high school programs. No matter how many moves you know Wrestling comes from the heart.Win or lose carry your head with pride as you walk on and off the mat.

Comments: We had our match and did our best,I think some of us learned some good lessons.All of our wrestlers showed some good movement,most never gave up or stopped wrestling.We will polish our techniques and learn to combine moves.I think David Clowney showed us if we keep trying and never give up, we have a really good chance on winning. Emmaus has set our make up match on Dec. 27 at 10:00 am: I would like to here from parents on who can attend and or arrange for rides so the kids can wrestle.There will be four teams at this match and I've arranged for the wrestlers to get 3-4 matches each.Contact me as soon as possible by signing in on the guestbook. That was a well coached team we played tonight and I think we should all be proud of the way we performed. Coach Stoner

Comments: This Friday we will have a match with North Hampton , Also we will host a match in our gym with EastBurg vs phillipsburg We will need parents to help set up mats and the food area,as well as take down of the same. Comments: I would like to congratulate each and everyone of our wrestlers for doing a FANTASTIC job on the mat today.We went with our heads held high,and worked on the mat like the coaches have shown.Practice will include going over some basic moves which will help us out from top and bottom.Everyone should enjoy both our victories we had today,And get ready for practice !!! Comments: We will not be having practice tonight do to the Alberta clipper ( snow storm ) which is in our region.If the storm drops 3-4 inches of snow during practice it would be difficult for some parents.All wrestlers will have practice on Thursday from 6:00 until 7:30.

Comments: Our practices are going smoothly.The room is running at a good pace and some of our kids seem to be learning alot. I hope everyone is getting ready for our first competion of the season.We look to fill most of our positions.Some of our kids should do really well. Title: Back to school

Comments: Thanksgiving vacation is over and its time to get back into the wrestling room.I think it would be OK if anybody wants to bring a friend into the room this week to work out with. I hope the sixth graders are ready to pick it up a notch and start leading the younger kids,showing moves, managing time at practice to make the most of it. We have an open door policy this week and if someone has some positive input please come to the wrestling area and talk to a coach or board member. Stoner
